Substance Abuse Ministry

Most Excellent Way

Meets Every Tuesday & Friday
7:00pm in Room 207

The Most Excellent Way ministry is a Christ centered ministry helping people achieve freedom from alcoholism, drug abuse and other life-dominating behaviors. Unlike secular recovery groups, we utilize Biblical principles to help people overcome the guilt, frustration, hopelessness, fear and shame associated with these destructive lifestyles. We do not endorse or teach the disease concept of alcoholism and addictions.

We DO believe in Jesus' promise, "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed," and that by God's grace we experience the complete restoration and renewal in becoming "a new creation in Christ." Those attending are discipled in the Word of God, are loved and encouraged to grow spiritually and emotionally, and when ready, are guided into Home Fellowships to again become productive members of the community.
